A junior in Colombo spends an afternoon looking for a judgment a partner half-remembers. A filing date gets written on the back of a brief. A deed of transfer gets typed from last year’s deed of transfer, and the clause that was wrong last year is wrong again. None of that is a failure of skill; it is a failure of having the reading, the dates and the instruments in one place.
So LawPal holds 24,022 judgments and 2,989Acts, searched on the facts rather than the citation; the firm’s own diary and its prescription clocks, which speak up before a window closes; and 55 Sri Lankan instruments filled in by interview. What a firm files is read alongside the reporters, and never on anybody else’s question.
It shows its working because the alternative is worse. An answer with no citation reads exactly like an answer with one, and a tool that guesses confidently is more dangerous to a practice than a tool that says it does not know. So every claim carries the judgment, the section or the file it came from - or it says, plainly, that the material does not answer the question.

No outcome is forecast and no course of action is recommended. The reading is ours; the judgement is the attorney’s, and the line between them is not blurred to make a demo better.
Approving a draft marks it ready for a person to take to the registry. There is no automation anywhere in this product that sends a document to a court or to another party.
Your documents are never used to answer another firm’s question, and never used to train a model. You can download everything and you can have it deleted.
